As you may have heard, Leyland Motors CC has merged with Leyland and Farington CC. The new team will be known as Leyland Cricket Club and the 1st and 2nd XI teams will play in the Northern League.
The move has been brought about by the sale of the ground and means the end of League cricket at Sandy Lane. It also means that, after the start of the season, any Club news will no longer appear on this site; I suggest you visit Leyland's site. I will keep this site on the web to show some of the pictures taken during the last few years but it will not be updated on a regular basis. The pictures below show action during the final match of 2006 Northern League season. If you want to see any recent pictures of games involving the new club go to my Leyland Cricket Club site.
